GIFF 

The GoldenCity International Film Festival (GIFF) was started with the concept of bringing the collective efforts of film writers, producers, directors, technicians and artists from rural India to the audience and culturally enriching them. Also to promote film literacy in rural India through discussions, lectures and informative dialogues on various topics. Our dream is to create a healthy community by bringing together more and more skilled and emerging artists and enthusiasts every year.

जीफ (GIFF) 

गोल्डनसिटी आंतरराष्ट्रीय चित्रपट महोत्सव (GIFF) ची सुरुवात, ग्रामीण भारतातील चित्रपट लेखक, निर्माते, दिग्दर्शक, तंत्रज्ञ आणि कलाकार यांच्या संघटीत प्रयत्नाला रसिकांसमोर आणणे आणि त्यांना सांस्कृतिकदृष्ट्या समृद्ध करणे या संकल्पनेतून करण्यात आली आहे. त्याचबरोबर विविध विषयांवर चर्चा, व्याख्याने आणि माहितीपूर्ण संवादातून  ग्रामीण भारतामध्ये चित्रपट साक्षरता वाढवणे. दरवर्षी अधिकाधिक कुशल आणि उदयोन्मुख कलाकार व रसिकांना एकत्र आणून निरोगी समाज निर्माण करणे हे आमचे स्वप्न आहे.

Vita Golden City

It is the only city in Maharashtra to have replica statues of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar facing each other. With a population of around 60,000 today, Vita is a city located in southern Maharashtra. This city is also known as the 'Golden City' because it has a large market for gold and silver. Also, most of the people of the taluka are famous all over the world for their gold and silver business. The overall environment is complementary, prosperous and peaceful.

छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराज आणि भारतरत्न डॉ.बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांचे पुर्णाकृती पुतळे समोरासमोर असणारे महाराष्ट्रातील हे एकमेव शहर आहे. आजरोजी साधारण 60,000 च्या आसपास लोकसंख्या असलेले विटा हे शहर महाराष्ट्राच्या दक्षिणेस वसले आहे. या शहराला 'सोन्याचे शहर' असेही म्हटले जाते कारण इथे सोने चांदीची मोठी बाजारपेठ आहे. तसेच तालुक्यातील बहुतांश लोक हे सोने चांदी व्यवसायाच्या निमित्ताने जगभर प्रसिद्ध आहेत. एकूणच पर्यावरण पूरक, समृद्ध आणि शांतताप्रिय अस हे शहर आहे.

Director's Vision 

Our dream is to enrich the lives of film lovers in rural India by introducing them to international culture through films. With no background in film, no so-called film education, dreaming of making a film and doing all the hard work of making a film with strong will, sincere effort, hard work and bringing it to the masses, we realized the power of film as a whole. To wake up the sleeperIf you want to make the awakened person stand up, if you want to make him walk, there is no effective medium like film. That is why the Voice of Rural India is organizing this festival to double the company of artists and enthusiasts from rural India. Rural India should become film literate, the aspirations of the youth should be ignited, the ideas of mothers and sisters should spread their wings, and the future generation should know the reality of today. Let's get ready. Let's start a parallel film movement by combining old and new ideas, let's fly high into the sky with wings of golden dreams of what is good, noble and elevated. Let's be strong..

दिग्दर्शकाची दृष्टी

ग्रामीण भारतातील चित्रपट रसिकांना चित्रपटांच्या माध्यमातून आंतरराष्ट्रीय संस्कृतीचा परिचय करून देणे आणि त्यांचे जीवन समृद्ध करणे हे आमचे स्वप्न आहे. चित्रपटाची कोणतीही पार्श्वभूमी नसताना, कोणतेही तथाकथित चित्रपट शिक्षण नसताना, चित्रपट बनवण्याचे स्वप्न पहाणे आणि प्रबळ इच्छाशक्ती, प्रामाणिक प्रयत्न, कठोर परिश्रम यांच्या बळावर चित्रपट निर्मिती करणे आणि तो लोकांपर्यंत पोहोचवणे हे सर्व जिकीरीचे काम पूर्ण केल्यानंतर, एकूणच चित्रपटाची ताकद आमच्या लक्षात आली. झोपलेल्याला जाग करायचं असेल, जागं झालेल्याला उभं करायचं असेल, उभा आहे त्याला चालायला लावायचं असेल तर चित्रपटा सारखं प्रभावी माध्यम कोणतचं नाही. म्हणूनच ग्रामीण भारताचा आवाज, ग्रामीण भारतातील कलाकार आणि रसिकांच्या साथीने द्विगुणित करण्यासाठी या महोत्सवाचे आयोजन करतो आहे.  ग्रामीण भारत चित्रपट साक्षर व्हावा, तरुणाईच्या आकांक्षांना नवे धुमारे फुटावेत, माता भगिनींच्या कल्पनांना पंख फुटावेत, उद्याच्या पिढीला आजचे वास्तव कळावे, या उदात्त हेतूने आपण सारेच प्रकाशयात्री नव्या युगाची पायवाट निर्माण करण्यासाठी सज्ज होऊया. नव्या जुन्या विचारांची सांगड घालून समांतर चित्रपट चळवळ सुरू करूया, जे जे उत्तम, उदात्त आणि उन्नत आहे त्या सोनेरी स्वप्नांचे पंख लावून उंच आकाशात भरारी घेऊया. चला सक्षम होऊया..
